How An Year Came And Went By.............

“Time is free, but it's priceless.

You can't own it, but you can use it
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it, you can never get it back.”

One year of college life has come to an end,But How it went by I don't know. Its feels as if yesterday only;Walking though the gates of GEC...The place I cherish the most..For me it's heaven on earth at GEC.In this blog I would like to share with you all those wonderful experience's I had in just one year.I am sure that no one will believe that an year can be this eventful; But everything is possible in S1S2 EC :D

One of the first things that everyone says about college is about ragging
Yes i too had my bit of ragging. At that time I had felt a bit irritated but now sitting here and thinking about it I don't know how a smile came to my face. I was a very good pray for my seniors they had made me write assignments, sing, jump, dance, propose, write Malayalam alphabets 10 times and everything what they felt like. But secretly I loved it and now my time has come.... Within a few month's my juniors will come and just wait and watch what I will make them do... Hehehe:D............

Then came a day for all us first years to enjoy our freshers day or GEN-X07.At first we thought that it would basically be a ragging day, but as the program went on we started to enjoy it.It was like a competition amongst all the branches of our year and in the end our class was crowned the champions even though we had to share the first place we had loved it.It was the first opportunity that we got to show our team work and EC spirit... It was a victory of our class. I too had taken part in it.The days we spent practicing for it, the last minute rehearsals are all such beautiful memories that I will never forget..........

During this time only we had formed a group of 7 great mind's, it was a convergence of power, vigor& spirit. A group of true ECians who had rewritten everything about EC spirit... And that was "The Mighty 7" and our motto was "Born To Rule"
From a mere group of 7 students who started it has now rose as a synonym of power for all the 36 boys.We may be 36 but under the MIGHTY 7 we are one. We may have had opinion differences amongst us but that doesn't mean that the MIGHTY 7 is divided we are still one, whomsoever says we have split we don't care..

Then classes started in full swing but for us it was a time to enjoy.Sitting in the back benches listening to music, playing or else cracking jokes bunking classes had become a sort of passion for us.Then our series Xams came and went by.....

Our main hangouts during these days was our canteen where we would sit and crack jokes over a cup of tea....Or else shijils house.... it had virtually become our base camp...Our else in the Grounds of NUS hostel...And PMG junction where we would sit on a wall and vayinottam was our main pass time...The days we had spent at kovalam, celebrated over a bottle of beer, watched movies, gone out for dinner together, played cricket,it feels as if it had happened only yesterday....

Our class had its share of stupid fights also...And I am happy that it has never snowballed into a 'Big Fight'...first was between the boys and gals, then amongst ourselves then a few clashes with S1S2 mech. Now thinking about those I am virtually laughing... It feels so childish now.. and more than that the issues over which we fought over was just some baseless misunderstandings....I hope that everyone forgets these and next year will not be like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See how memories are, we will look back on the times we've laughed together and cry and laugh when we look back at the times we've cried. We will always remember close friends, and will always keep memories of them in our hearts.......

We at S1S2 EC had never left any opportunity to celebrate go by...during Deepavali we had burst crackers even though it was prohibited in college...celebrated Christmas, cut cake...Celebrated Holi in all its color and vigor....Our sergeant had once came to us and said "In all these years he has never seen a class celebrate like this" ...cool nah...We really enjoyed these days...and I am sure next year also this will continue :D

Our tour is the single best thing which I swear I will never forget... Those days spend in front of the HOD's room for a permission...Running behind the teachers to ask them to accompany us... Our meetings with the Goondukadu gonda's...How our travels 'teepued:D' us... Right from the time we started our tour problems have been following us...But we enjoyed every moment of it our dance in the bus,the stay at the dormitory;and a special mention about their sambar :D,our late night party :D, climbing the hill, our boat ride, the camp fire, dinner from thattu kada and so... This tour was special for me as it was my first one
and I am definitely looking on to going next year...

Then came AAGNEYA-08 an inter college fest organized by our college and our night stays at kanakakunnu palace, our 'Kutti perivu' ,going for sponsorship etc are very special memories about aagneya. After this college union elections were held, which were fought in the right spirit..I really loved being a part of it the marches, calling mudravakyams and all..Here I would love to remember how I and my friend's had spent a whole day in the bright sun marching for SFI state convention hehe :D After this our union inauguration was held during this we had a little fight with our seniors :D But on thing is that politically most of us may be in different poles but personally we are very good friend's and when it comes to our class we are always one.....

Then our Arts Day-Sargam. The best part of it for me was our Mime show.. with just 3 hours practice but with 100% dedication we were able to get second prize for it.

Then the group song for which i was awarded the best actor hehehe :D Then again our little fight with the mech's...
those two days were fun filled and full of action. And I extremely happy that I was able to be a part of it

How could one ever forget the last days??
We had spent those days writing our record, retests and spreading romours about our coming university exams. Those last minute studies, coming after the exams and saying to each other "Aliya Veendum Valichu.....",our combined studies which was usually a combined kali And everything else....

Hence an year came and went by and we had never felt it go by.So quick is the pace of this world. Now only three more years are there..And in a blink of the eye those will also go bye.And the day is not far away when will be leaving our college so we must forget all our fights and enjoy these years.Remember these days once gone will never come back.........................
